This versatile tool sharpens, hones or files any knife or metal. Quick and easy to use, simply lay the diamond pad flat on the face of the blade, lift to create an angle of 7-10° on one side. Rub in a circular or up and down motion along the entire length of the blade. Start with firm pressure to shape up the blade and then progressively get lighter to finish the edge. Only the lightest of strokes may be required to maintain the cutting edge. Under normal use will last for years and years.
